Want to learn how to program sound?

Because of the absolute chaotic state this site is in, I've decided to just continue my Linux Game Programming for Windows Users series with some basic fun with writing a sound engine from scratch in SDL. Game development seems to be plagued with these libraries all over the place and people just Googling around until they find something to hot-glue onto their engine. That's not a bad thing to do, but I think it's good to understand how it all works underneath so that when you use the libraries, you can use them more intelligibly. Heehee, well I'm going to get to work on the tutorial and you can catch it when it gets approved in any of my signatures.

I'm putting my part index there until they get the custom content blocks fixed here. I'm also going to be saving the tutorials into a sort of archive so that I might combine it all into some light eBook later after some heavy proofreading and errata fixing.
