As you may or may not have known, I've been working on an engine replacement for RPG Maker 2003. It's an RPG creation program that's almost what most users wanted, but the engine has many problems. This engine is designed to be a suitable replacement, have modern features like HLSL, and be open source.
The above video is an example using the stock graphics that came with the engine of the battle system so far. It's got only normal attacks, equipment, accuracy, and element effects right now. This is the final part of the engine that needs to be completed.
Once the engine has been completed, a natural direction would be to write a replacement for the editor itself. This would take quite some time though >.< so for now I'll just focus on fixing and finishing the engine.

I might also start back up writing tutorials for various things again here. I might not continue my old Linux Game Programming for Windows Programmers series, but I'll do something related to game programming.
