Heavy Metal Mouse

Now for a much more absurd exploration into PC gaming peripherals. A long while ago, I got a basic Logitech G500s mouse for some comfortable gaming. It's all you need, it doesn't look like some cyborg shit, it does its job well and it doesn't cost too much. It also fits in your hand neatly. I noticed it came with some weights inside, so I took the tray out and put the heavier weights inside. I thought it felt more comfortable the heavier it was.

Much more recently, I had a terrible idea. What if I created a solid block of lead the same size as the weight tray? With the aid of someone, we melted, purified, and then worked a block of lead to put inside the mouse where the tray used to go. It won't be harmful inside the mouse and it doesn't rub against anything to create toxic dust, although the actual poisonous part was the melting and working of the lead.

This new mouse feels like I'm sliding a shot put around, but surprisingly comfortable. It's actually improved my performance at Osu! although I have to use it for several weeks and in many games to really see if it is better. I think I'll try a solid block of tungsten next. It's probably a much better and safer way to go with tungsten, I really don't recommend you try this at home with lead- have an expert work out a tungsten block for you. Better yet, they can probably replicate the tray itself so you can take weights in and out of it for adjustment.
