So, I'm finally uploading the source. It's a little buggy (still) but it should be stable. (Memory and CPU usage seem pretty stable too)

I'm intrigued to see if anyone can build it for their OS, or what errors they come across. I've included the Windows DLLs, and all references are relative (I hope) to the project, so *hopefully* it should build without problems. I've never released the code for a full project like this before, so let's see how it goes.

I don't know how other operating systems use dependencies like Windows DLLs, but I know they'll require some other stuff - no idea what.^^

To those of you willing to try to build a release for your OS - thank you. :') if you could email me the build (gabehabe@gmail.com), I'll upload it to SourceForge and credit you for your contribution.

Please note I'm not looking for any help on the project, I'm determined to do it by myself. That said, I'm open to suggestions on how to improve it. :)

Woah, your code is absolutely horrible! There's nearly no comments and everything looks convoluted. I don't expect anyone to contribute to the code unless they're going to really sit there and sift through the wall of code.

I literally have a paragraph after each function prototype of code and related problems that could happen myself. And I think half my code is comments where each step of what goes on in my mind is commented.

I can't get the code to compile, but that's because I'm not sure how to get all the libraries to work. For some reason it can't find the SDL .h files (which I use myself often) and I'm not sure where you got your MySQL library.

OOPS! Lol, I put them in my system folders and forgot to copy them over. I'm a douche. :)

And yeah, my code is horrible. Like I said, I'm doing it myself so I don't really care! :P

I'll add the additional headers to the .zip and re-upload it, stay tuned...

And thanks for looking, I really appreciate it :wub:

Okay, if you download from that link again, you should see a headers folder in the zip. The project has been reconfigured to look in that directory instead of the installation dir. Thanks for the feedback :^:

Im gonna try compile this, i'm on mac though so I will have to try and get it running. Shouldn't be to hard :) ill give you a copy if i get it working.

By the way, I haven't fully implemented the transparency yet, I need to mess about with my pngs to work with SDL_DisplayFormatAlpha like you suggested, so other players flash a little during gametime. I'll implement your advice though, I've already figured out how I can do it, just need to find the time and patience to do it. :)
