Operating Systems Market Share

Icon 2 Comments
Just found some interesting statistics - operating systems market share. Details available here:
http://marketshare.h...-...&qpcustomc=

I'm not surprised Windows still has the biggest percentage, but there is a growing percentage of Apple machines. I was surprised to see PlayStation and Nintendo Wii in the list. As I know, PlayStation runs on a modified version of Linux, so I would include that as Linux. In this case, I would expect to see the Xbox percentage, even if it is somehow included in the Windows numbers, as the number of Xbox users is pretty big.

Xbox doesn't have a web browser, and that's how these numbers are compiled.

Still, the Xbox has Internet access and is somehow identified as a specific device with specific software that accesses the network. However, it is only accessing Xbox Live services, but not external sources so I completely agree with that.
