I have been given the opportunity to review another book, Murach’s HTML5 and CSS3. This book was another excellent book by Murach and I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. It helped me get better acquainted with the HTML5 and CSS3 as I was still working with XHTML for my web pages and wanted to move to HTML5.

Murach’s HTML5 and CSS3 is an excellent source for anybody, novice or professional, looking to get started with HTML5 and CSS3. Like all Murach books it is formatted with text on the left and figures on the right demonstrating the text. I really enjoy this format and it works well for reference books like this one. The examples used in the book show examples of web pages that you will find in the real world. It quickly gets you up and going with basic web pages and then moves to more advanced topics. It shows how to integrate Javascript and jQuery with your pages to add a degree of interaction beyond static web pages. It has earned a spot on my reference shelf, and is my go to guide, for when I’m designing web pages.

Agree with you on the review...a little of bit of everything and in a good sequential order...
