For one, you have to have Visual C#. I have that, VS2008, but then you also need XNA installation from the microsoft site. That would not be a major issue, if only my computer at work would allow me to download that.
The best a beginner in game dev could do is create a sprite, in one week. No complete game can be done in a week, especially if some of us are like the borg, and prefer perfection. And when it comes to any programming, let alone gaming, it has to be perfect. Unless some of us prefer to be working for Microsoft in our future.
So, I will not be able to make this challenge, but I already have an idea brewing in my brain, and once I get back online at home, will download xna and start my game.
