Please guide me about this. Only a few lines will do:

The hardwired and microcode methods form two radically different approaches to control unit design. In your opinion, which approach is better, when we talk in term of performance?

That's not an advanced question. Hardwired CU will almost always be faster, because you're putting the task in hands of the linear, automated hardware to do the job, instead of a software.

but it is advanced one for newbie like me. Well, you mentioned only one point. Anyone who may share with me more point on this topic, will really be appreciated.
