@stayscrisp - well we actually share resources here for non-commercial, "home-made" games. For commercial games you will need a team that will design and develop all the components, therefore FMOD perfectly fits into the list smile.gif

And thanks for sharing another link! Added to the list.

I was thinking that compilers/IDEs as well as the various graphics libraries/APIs might be nice.

@SixOfEleven - I guess graphic libraries would be good. As of compilers and IDEs, I would assume that the person who looks for game resources already knows what IDE and compiler he/she uses. But that's just my opinion.

You're probably right about compilers/IDEs.

Which of the sprite tools is best for use on C# with Visual Studio 2008 Express and XNA?

Also I installed Blender a while ago and its really slow and generally non-responsive; does that just mean my comp probably cant handle it?

Thanks

Basically, when it comes to sprites, it doesn't really matter what tools you use since you generate non-IDE dependent content.

As of Blender running slow, I would assume that your PC is a bit less powerful than required or is just over-loaded with various processes. It runs fine on my PC.

Just found this: http://www.perioncorner.com

Perion Corner seems pretty cool, it's got rips of Maple Story sprites. Can't use them commercially for obvious reasons but if you're just making a demo of an engine, they're pretty cool.
