Hello, I have a quick question
Is it possible for perl to enter a password (providing you know it) into the window that prompts up on your computer, this would be a question for prompts from password protected files and other software?
if this is possible what commands and or modules would work best for this occation
Thanks much
Johnny

You can use the Expect module. I have no experience using Expect so can't help with usage.

Assuming that you're talking about entering a password into a Microsoft Windows application, you'll probably need to use one or more modules for interacting with the Win32 API to handle the actual communication with the window. I don't do Windows programming myself, though, so I can't really provide any additional information on using Win32 modules.
