Hi Guys, new guy here.
I need to save data submitted on a web form to a Excel spreadsheet format. I have already tried this with PHP and it seems to work ok. But also need acknowledgement to be sent automatically back to client in form of email or fax (Not sure fax is possible)

So basically I need to ensure all fields are required, then saved to excel, then emailed a response to thank them etc.

Any suggestions on what to use? PHP, ASP, Maybe use mySql to save data then somehow convert to spreadsheet. Don’t know haven’t looked at mySql yet.

There are gonna be over 20 000 entries, u think excel will handle the traffic like a database will??

Thanks for any help u can give
