Hi, can someone help me with a simple tutorial to read Excel files using C# with Visual Studio 2008. I'm looking for the basics to build upon. My main problem is to locate a file, read a cell then convert it to a string (preferably as a class program to begin).

Thanks in advance.
Arfan.

-------EDIT---------
Happy for you to do the tuturial might come in handy, but I do not require it any more, thanks any way.

The C# basics reference sheet here at DIC might be able to help you out with the basics.

Anyone know of any tutorials on how to write a log file (e.g. IIS) parser in C# and put the output into nicely formatted html page?

Cheers,

Ross

Uh, how about Microsoft.com? The Visual C# Developer Center seems a good place to start. They've got videos and everything!

That wouldn't work..
Console and WriteLine have to be capitalized.
