hi
can anyone help me
i am trying to develop an operating system for a small device,lets sy a pda or cellphone,and i dont know how to start

all i know is i have to take into consideration the memory and speed the device have,the type of display(monitor),other externenal devices that can be connected to the device.

please tell me how do i go about with it...

First off, you don't have to post 3 threads saying the exact same thing. Second, you need to look into how the device boots up. Regular computers load the bootloader which then loads the OS. If your small device works the same, then you need to look into creating a bootloader which will load the kernel of your OS (which you will also have to create). From there you can then worry about other parts of your OS like tools and GUI.

If you have to ask, then it's probably beyond your ability.

I have no idea of your experience, so I don't know if that's true or not. But if you're just starting, go for something small.
