yes this could grow into hundreds of sheets (which would be awesome)
I would also suggest PHP be added to the list of potential candidates.
Are there going to be more advanced pages for any or all of these languages once the basic's are all finished?

I just dowmloaded the Java Reference Sheet and noticed that the --X operator is incorrectly named as the post-decrement operator instead of predecrement. Otherwise it's a handy reference - especially for those of us that program in multiple languages and tend to mess up syntax.

PHP was begun here:
http://forums.dreamincode.net/showtopic17867.htmAnd yes, there will be more advanced functionality added to the second side of the beginner sheets - already begun for C++ and java, I believe.

James, thank you for the heads up, I'll take care of this ASAP and get the corrected version uploaded.
Update: New version uploaded with correction made. Thanks again!!!

You might also want to change the case on string in the data types section to String.

xof, thanks for the clarification, I'll get the "String" edit up ASAP. We would be happy to do a C sheet, would you be so kind as to volunteer to help lead up that project? You can see all the projects we have going on here:
http://forums.dreamincode.net/showforum62.htmThey are labeled: "Programming Reference Sheets: language"
Edit: The java ref sheet has been updated with the proper capitalization on "String"

Pretty sweet as some of you USians are prone to exclaiming, perhaps for want of better english.
Better english as defined by which authority? Or is it simply a personal general derision for common slang?
I'm not invested one way or the other...simply curious.
As an FYI, the slang expression 'Sweet' to denote an item/action/idea that is deemed to be impressive/desireable is not restricted to the US - it is fairly widely used in many countries in which English is the primary language. I will concede its origin in the US.

they are still in the works, just a little slowed down.
css and php have enough info, just have to be put together.
As for perl and regular expression, sounds like a good idea to me, regular expressions i can be useful, as well as for the basics of perl.
It would be good to get an AJAX sheet as well.

Please can someone let me know as to when a PHP reference sheet is to become available. I have been waiting for ages for one to come out. Infact i posted a reply about a month ago and no one as of then has responde to it. Has this now become a dead forum?

Heh. The folks that were working on the PHP reference sheet have been pretty busy. It's still something we'd like to do.
And this definitely hasn't become a dead forum, hell, in the past week we've had over 2,500 posts and 1,000 new members and close to 125,000 visitors...
We'll get it done when we get it done.

No problem, we should have gotten it done a year ago when we promised it.
I actually sent it over for review last night and will be posting it shortly in the PHP forum for a final review. Once approved we'll put it in the ref sheet template and you'll be able to download it soon.
