D.I.C Head Joined: 26 Sep, 2006 Posts: 72 Dream Kudos: 25 My Contributions	Hello, Im tryin to work out the output rate of an mm1 queue given only(as far as i can tell) an input rate and the maximum buffer size. Im having some trouble although think it can be done using littles formula to detemine the mean waiting time in the queue then using this to work out the utilization of the queue and from there the output rate. The method above gives me a minus answer for the utilization (which should be between 0 and 1) so i assume im working out the mean items in the queue wrong, does anyone have any useful input on this? Thanks.
