Hi all, I am searching for a good UML diagram program at a good price? I need one for docummenting and modeling desktop, databases, and web apps. Is there any free ones with the MSDN professional subscription?

Thanks,
David

This is probably better suited for Software Dev, where it's not C#-specific. I'll move it there.

Just a personal opinion, but I like UMLet. It's completely free, and it supports most UML 2.0 standards as far as I'm aware, and it's all around 9 meg I think, so it's easy to carry around on a flash drive. It's all Java too so it'll run no matter where you are.

Rational Rose is considered as the industry standard for constructing all nine UML diagrams but it's not free.
NetBeans has a UML Plugin but you'll find Umbrello a lot more easier to use.
Umbrelllo is a UML Modeller for Linux, but you can run it on Windows as well. (Click here for instructions)
