Welcome to the General Programming forum. We have created this forum for discussion on non-language specific topics such as design patterns, object oriented programming, techniques, etc.

So... welcome!

Click here and download the Red Book (it's a great book for openGL) and has many tutorials, including the ones for a sphere...also on that page is source code, including some for spheres you can download.

dream kudos are a points system for submitting resources and tutorials.

that said, c++ questions should go into the c++ forum http://forums.dreamincode.net/showforum15.htm

and questions about the website go in the site feedback forum: http://forums.dreamincode.net/showforum23.htm

if you look at the full forums list http://forums.dreamincode.net/ we have a specific forum for most topics the site covers. please keep your posts to the relevant forum, thanks.

I don't see why they would not be, as long as they are non-language specific and deal with programming ideas, structures and techniques, as opposed to solving specific assembly code problems.

Then again, I suppose there is no actual 'Assembly' forum.

Are you looking for an assembler for a windows machine? If so, you can download NASM or MASM...there's NASM for Linux as well. If you're looking for a specific one, let me know which one, I have a ton of them.
