D.I.C Head Joined: 13 Sep, 2008 Posts: 206 Thanked: 3 times My Contributions	Well for my programming class i decided i was going to write a basic text file encryptor/decryptor. I would like to use the RSA encryption algorithm, but all i can find is source code and I'd much rather learn the theory first so I know what I'm doing and can implement it in other languages. I know that the encryption algorithm scrambles text and generates public & private keys but I'm not sure how to apply it to data in a program. So would someone mind either explaining basic encryption to me or linking me to a site that teaches theory and THEN how to implement an encryption algorithm? Thanks in advance

You got to keep in mind that RSA is going to be a tad tough for some people to grasp their mind around. After all, if it was too simple it would be too easily broken.
