I'm looking for books on compiler's theory. Bear in mind, I have no knowledge whatsoever on this topic. Any books you guys would like to recommend for beginners like me?

I can't take compiler's theory classes in my university since it clashes with other class, so class is really not an option for me.

I did compiler construction in university. I'll try and see if I can find the textbook. BTW, I found it a fascinating subject. smile.gif

It seems like a really interesting topic to me as well.

A quick google search provided this site , however I have no idea how useful it will be for your purposes.

"Compilers: Principles, Techniques, and Tools" aka Dragon Book, is the industry-standard textbook on this subject.
