Anyone know the normal frame rate on the Xbox 360?
A article I read a guy shipped their gold candidate with 30 fps, that sound low(for me that is used with at least 50+) for a final product.
Is 30 a normal frame rate for 360 and other consoles? The game that was shipped with 30 FPS was The Outfit.
So anyone has a clue?

30 is about the frame rate for normal human vision to process so I wouldn't be looking to generate anything that much higher or else you will be spinning your wheels for nothing. Now this isn't saying they can only see fluid motion at that rate. Some films have been shown at 24fps and be viewed just fine because of the mind making up the motion. Think of it as the human mind filling in the frames per actual frame or "tweening".

But for your programming and games, most people strive for the 30-35 range. I think anything above that will be a bit overkill.

I can confirm that 30fps is the normal framerate for the Xbox. The normal framerate the human vision processes is 25fps, so 30 is already more than that.
