Hi,
I've got a database book which isn't really that great, i've recently looked at some reviews on this book by other people and it seems they are also having the same problem as i am.
I've studied databases at college before but as any other student, i found it boring and switched off during classes, however for the second year in my degree, databases are covered in almost all subjects. (The Horror I Know).
So i am wondering if anyone out there can give me some titles to database books, which meet these requirements:
- Easy for Beginners to understand.
- Covers small to medium sized databases .
- It has to be based on Microsoft Access (thats what we cover in college - horrid i know)
- Covers database topics in detail but doesn't repeat itself over and over (ERD, Normalization etc..).
- Also has some exercises for the reader.
- *Optional* - Solutions to any questions that the book may have.
Any help would be great and all books that people may recommend are welcome.
Thanks
Armanian
