Sorry to keep pestering you all but I've made some major changes in my site. But before I design the rest of my pages I was hoping to get feed back on the layout. Don't worry about the banner for now, I'm working on that. I'm just wondering if the layout/color scheme looks good or if I'm using too much color. I got the color scheme from a professional.
It looks a lot better than the first one (old one) so I am happy that you have got it this far. The banner looks a little out of place still but it is better.
To answer your question about loading speeds, it is possible that the page would load faster with gif, but all the images would be pixelated around the edges and look bad. I believe that 99.99% of the world would rather the page loads a little slower than having to look at pixelated stuff every time they go to your site.

I know there is a problem with the banner and I'm working on it. For now I might just leave it out as I also don't like that little blank corner at the top. Instead of changing to GIF format I will see if I can reduce the size of the PNGs.
