I'll move it to site Feedback. There have been several threads harping on people's grammar. I could say the same about your punctuation. People are lazy. English as a second language. Poorly educated. The list goes on and on.

You know... as long as we are nit-picking at the short-comings of others, your grammar is crap too. Specifically your lack of capitalization.

So before your fire back with how k00l & 733t it is to type like a dufus, save your energy & instead use that as your answer to your own question.

Sorry if this seams a little aggressive, but it really, really irks me when someone is so aggravated by something so trivial, that they themselves are doing, & feel some sort of need to create an entire topic to point it out to everyone else.

See computerfox, it doesn't matter if any post have horrible grammar, till we assess what the guest or a member wants to convey. Yeah this is a case sometimes that we are unable to understand what he/she wants to convey but it should be ignored.
What you have to say about it.

Spelling errors irritate me. Especially in thread titles. Grammar errors are not so irritating since sometimes people write like they talk, and you can figure out what they mean.

Still, it's not so bothersome that I have to complain about it all the time.

Oh yeah, what's worse is when someone posts things like ***gives look*** or something all the time! I mean, once or twice it's cute. After that, it's annoying! What kind of look do they mean? It really doesn't make much sense.

//it's probably a good thing that greeters weren't given editing abilities, or everyone's misspelled thread titles would start getting corrected. lol

I concur in Spades! It drives me nuts, especially when someone is posting a programming question. I mean we're supposed to be professionals, so why cant they type like one? Does it really take any longer to type what do you think then to type wat do 2 thnk?

This is what speech is like in high school nowadays. English has been taking a change for the worse, no2pencil hit it on the head, "l33t" talk is becoming a norm in society.

Being a stickler with the way I reply to posts, I strive to speak English well. As for other members, it irks me slightly, but people are here to try and get help; does the way they ask their question matter? Nope.

Well, people from all over the world post here. Their English probably isn't the best. I was thinking of finding a Spanish forums like DIC, just to practice my Spanish. Maybe that's what they're doing.
