Currently working on the beta design for my Flash Game site.

I will not claim to be an expert but I like your beta better. There is one suggestion I would make about the beta. Try and look up color schemes the blue and green in my opinion are a bit too contrasting, unless that is what you were going for. I tend to like complimentary colors. But the lay out is excellent and the presentation is much better than the first site. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the replys. I like the contrasting blue and green I think it helps people remember a site that sticks out and not one that just blends. Because with doing this when people think oh I want to play a game they will remember NewbZ better.

That idea might work with the contrasting colors. If that is what you had intended then by all means use it. After all, it was just a suggestion. smile.gif

Oh btw if the site takes off mainly the review section and forum i will be looking for mods etc. So if anyone is interested just say plus if anyone wants to have their games on the site I will make them featured games.

the only thing that could confuse "NewbZ" (noobs, beginner or whatever) is that the green highlight in the Navi always stays on home

if you dont want to change that... heres another idea:
make some sort of arrow for the active link/page...
here an example (made in paint):

Yeah haven't got round to that need to make it dynamic as i'm including the menu from one file so need to make it look at the url and depending on what page its on highlight that. But thanks.

Yeah sorry. Beta is moved to main directory now as the design is finished and everything is converted. Just working on the new stuff and will soon be sorting outm the menu. So that the green moves. At the moment it doesn't this is because it is included from one place. So I will soon make it dynamic which isn't too hard.

I have added a page that has a link that redirects to the main site so that if other people go there they can go to the right place.

Also just wanting to know if you think that having Flash Videos, like the funny ones would be good to have on the site.
