Hi people ..

I've HP Pavilion a6058d with core 2 duo processor ,I want to upgrade the processor to quad core processor.

The question here is Can i do so or not?what do i need if it is possible?

Well a lot of that depends on what socket your motherboard will support, so you need to find that out first

800 MHz front side bus
Socket 775

Motherboard:
Manufacturer: Asus
Motherboard Name: P5LP-LE
HP/Compaq motherboard name: Leonite-GL8E

Yes, you can upgrade your computer to Quad. Whilst purchasing, make sure you get the correct socket.
