Hi all,
I have jsut made a website called serenityequestrian.com that deals with equestrian training, lessons and boarding.

I have also included descriptions, META data tags and hopefully richcontent.
Upon successfully uploading and starting this site I have found that I can only find it in google via the search engine by named search....like serenityequestrian.
The link also comes up as realationship first which is the the header for my index page.
so:
a) how do I make the link show up as something differnt
cool.gif how do I improve the ability to find the site with other search engines via the HTML code.

Thanks,
Corliss

How old is your domain? Because if your domain is young (I mean here that you launched your website a month ago) you will have to wait until search engines index it automatically.

You should submit your website to the search engines. For Google you can click here to submit it. For the others I don't know exactly, look for "Submit a website" or something like this.

Also, you can use this tool to submit your website to search engines automatically - http://mypagerank.net/index.php?action=ser...&file=index , but to use this you need to make a free account there.

Think about building a sitemap for your website. It's helpful for you and for the search engine bots.

You can see the last visit of the Google bot here: http://mypagerank.net/service_gbla_index, Yahoo! bot last visit here: http://mypagerank.net/service_yblv_index, MSN bot last visit here: http://mypagerank.net/service_mblv_index

This website, in conclusion - http://www.mypagerank.net/ has some useful tools and I've used many of them for my website and it worked for me. Good luck.

I would suggest using WebCEO http://www.webceo.com/ to submit to the Search Engines. Go to your Social Networking sites (if any) and add links to your ne site, creating linkbacks. Then wait for crawling.

Also, META data is a thing of the past. It adds additional lines of code to your page thus killing your content to code ratio which the search engines hate.

Getting that pagerank is a waiting game so be patient. And BTW, your search keyword is based of your overall repeating usage of a particular word. For example, using cool many times wil result in a crawl referencing cool as one of your content keywords hen landing you a search phrase cool in the Search Engines.

You need backlinks. Backlinks are very important in improving your search engine placement.
Submitting to search engines won't help a lot if your position within those engines is very low. So work on getting other sites to link back to you.
