Seperating code by Layers...Communicating with other layers

New D.I.C Head Joined: 14 Apr, 2009 Posts: 23 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	Hi everyone, I am starting to develop with Flash and I really am enjoying learning it. I also appreciate the help that some of you have given. I am trying to figure out the best way of keeping my code organized and the one way I am doing it until I learn how to do classes is separating some code in layers... like the main program in "program" layer and another part in "song" layer. I found out I can call "Song" functions from the main program... is there anyway of calling "Program" functions or variables through the "Song" layer? I know the best practice is to use classes but I right now don't know how to link actionscript files and really need to complete this project. Any help or advice would be appreciated. Thanks . - Stan
