Hi Everyone,
I've had a web presence for over 10 years now. My current site is nearly 2 years old. I've just updated it recently. I created it for three reasons:

1) My oldest son bought me the domain name so I thought it was necessary to do something with it. smile.gif
2) I wanted to practice my PHP skill along with style sheets.
3) I actually have some content I wanted to make public (games, programs, documents, etc.)

I've over 40 and prefer simple looking sites without too much clutter. I'd appreciate any feedback you might have.

If you find an area for improvement please let me know what browser/version you are using in addition to the area for improvement. I've only tested with Firefox (v3.0.10).

Edit: Here's my link. I only imagined I added it the first time. My Webpage

Thanks,
Chuck

You know...I'd love to give you some feedback on your site, if I could figure out where it is. smile.gif

Could you give us a link or something?

Is it this link? Found it in the Free DIC++ Membership thread.
http://www.chuckbolin.com/games.php

If so, the images/thumbnails arent the best quality. I think the site needs to be framed up and centered, so it can draw attention to the content.

Hi,
First, sorry for leaving out the link. I know I imagine I posted it in my initial post...must have been that white font. smile.gif

Second, I can work on centering and cleaning up the frames.

Regards,
Chuck

The colors go good together. You might want to use CSS to change the colors of the links to a color that match the palette you chose. Also, the site is good for the visually impaired.

Not about the site but I like the games you made.

Hi,
That's a good idea about link color matching the palette. Regarding the visually impaired, I was hoping to build a site that doesn't look too cluttered.

For a previous post, I did center the images. I'll work on better screenshots/thumbnails at a later time.

Thanks everybody!

Regards,
Chuck

What I meant about the visually impaired, which I am, is some site's color schemes make it very hard for me to read the text. The background and text colors are too close together. There is enough difference between your text colors and the background to make them easy to read.
