Recently i have started to learn more about photoshop etc and have gotten more into graphic design, I was just curious where you creative guys get your inspiration from or is it just purely becuase your awesome lol
Inspiration comes from many different places, and it often changes based upon the person.
I typically dream something up, or see some work I would like to try to imulate. Once I have completed a piece based off of someone else's ideas I find a way to make it my own.
I don't know, just look around the web and you will find a lot of cool stuff.
i often recieve inspiration from other peoples work then like beta war said make it your own. this happens when working on web design but when it comes to photography that i often integrate into graphics i just try to make that completely my own

I'm still a bit of noob when it comes to graphics design. I like experimenting with Gimp and trying to create new and interesting effects. I do agree with others, I like looking at the different graphics on the web and if they appeal to me I try them out. Like firebolt said, the signatures here on DIC are great inspiration.
Cheers for the advice guys, i feel the web design and graphic design is coming along nicely the only thing holding me back sometimes is the know how in photoshop etc so i've been cracking out the studying
For me, Nature is the best source of inspiration. Go out, watch clouds, Greenery, sand dunes(in my case ), etc.. You'll definitely find something to do for rest of the day.
I get inspiration from a lot of places, like Beta War said. One of the things that inspires me is nature. Like yesterday there was a cute little green tree frog hanging on our door. So I got the webcam out and took some pics. I might use him in a graphic. I took some pics of the neighbor's horse recently, too, which I will probably use in an animation sometime. I take pictures of all kinds of things, including the sky, plants, flowers, bugs, even my dogs.
Looking at the artwork of others can be inspiring, too, but for me it usually makes me think I'm not as good as they are at it. lol. So I prefer the pictures.

Thats very true actually thats where i got my inspiration from for my first leaflet design when i was driving home in the sunset
