D.I.C Regular Joined: 25 Feb, 2008 Posts: 270 Thanked: 5 times My Contributions	Hi All, I have come across an error that occurred on a 'portal' page for my company. It said the error was sent to IT. Would my user name be included in the error as the person who received the error? Dumb question but would like to know.

Yes, I would assume that the error report will collect in it as much information as possible to later trace the way the error appeared.

Probably, IP address, OS, web browser, username, and time (at least) then they probably cross reference that against a log database of all the pages you accessed in order (along with timestamps) in an attempt to recreate the error, and then solve it.
