I guess they've been working on this one for a while. It was under production right after XI as it is another online game. According to EoFF they aren't even keeping the same races. :\ I hope you don't have to pay monthly like you did for XI, which was the only reason I didn't play XI. What do you think about this. This was made by a different team, so it has nothing to do with XIII.
It's an mmorpg like XI, so I don't think there's really a storyline.
And consider yourself lucky you haven't had the misfortune of playing X, X-2, and XII. XIII looks almost as ghey as XII though.
Maybe so, but we also have to remember that it's the first FF game on the PS3, so no matter what it will look amazing and the physics etc will probably make it more than playable on their own.
I didn't finish 10 or 9. I think 8 was my fav, but what does this have to do with 14? 14 is totally unrelated, and its just an mmorpg that is seperate from 11.

I never really got into 11. Not to perpetuate the offtopicness of discussing 9 or 10, but I thought 10 was God-awful. I got so sick of fighting the same guy, over and over, that I just sold it.

I definitely agree. I rented X-2 for a week and didn't make it past the first day. Horrible! I was confused how Yuna went from a delicate, dainty little thing to what resembled a hooker.
X wasn't bad, but I ended up getting all of their ultimate weapons and it made end game content an utter joke. That's always a little disappointing.
I loved 9 (it made me cry...much like 7). I am currently playing Crisis core which is pretty spifty.
I never beat 8 but I think it was because I wasn't a really big fan of the magic system. I was on the fourth disc, though, so I may have to go back and give it another try again.
I have XI but I hate online fees too. I have since canceled my account. If this new one is online I would only play if I had a group people to play with...otherwise, it's not worth it to me.
Just because the characters are "hot" doens't make it playable. I didn't make it past the Lhiazu mines before throwing the controller at the screen and screaming (like that one commercial lol)
I beat V, VII, VIII, IX, X, and X-2 (sadly i played through this whole game lol). I got halfway through VI twice and forgot where I needed to go (maybe Locke can help lol). Got a third of the way through XII (according to the walkthroughs my characters are like 20 lvls underleveled so I'm stuck and there is not enough $$). XI was an MMO that contributed to the ruining of the series with X-2. My 2cents of FF.

6 is the same as 3. The only difference is that 3 is on SNES and 6 is on PS.
Oh yeah, I forgot Tactics. So gabehabe has only finished one more FF than me
