Getting Linux is scary! Help!, FTP What?

D.I.C Head Joined: 6 May, 2009 Posts: 74 Thanked: 1 times My Contributions	I must just be stupid. I've searched around and found out about ZipSlack, a Slackware Linux distribution, figured out that I probably just wanted the bare bones A package, and the FTP severs and stuff are confusing me... There's like 3,000,000,000,000 million different folders and files , and I cannot figured out how to get what I need to install zipslack on my computer... Help? I've looked at it muliple times over the last month or two, and everytime I try and figure it out, it just gets more confusing... That's basically the only reason I'm still running Windows too.... Joined: 10 May, 2007 Posts: 13,234 Thanked: 289 times Dream Kudos: 2875 Expert In: Goofing Off My Contributions	You want to download the iso, for example : http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware...kware-12.2-iso/ Alternatively, I'm sure you could purchase the install disks somewhere, relatively inexpensive. I bought slackware from CheapBytes many many years ago for like $2.
