Webmaster Joined: 12 Mar, 2009 Posts: 2,018 Thanked: 125 times Dream Kudos: 1350 My Contributions	hi dear Experts, i am using in C#.Net and VB.Net science 2007 as my Database Front end, but now i want to prepare my self for Microsoft Certification and here is two options for me MSCD (Microsoft Certified Solution Developer) or MSAD (Microsoft Certified Application Developer) what to learn, i found DVD packs for MSCD and MSAD, but i an confuse what to learn. It is the prerequisite to the MSCD. This means that you can do the MSAD first and with a few more exams you then go into the MSCD. Now these two tests cover .NET framework 1.0 and 1.1 versions so they are a bit out of date. If you are doing the more current frameworks (2.0, 3.0, 3.5) then you will need to look at the Microsoft Certified Technology Series (MCTS) which then leads to the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD). This is the new track and what you want to do to be on top of the market these days. MSAD and MSCD are the old certs and MCTS and MCPD are the newer ones. So to answer the question you should probably start by going into the MCTS and then you can work up to your MCPD and you will be all set. Hope that helps!
