Hello,

I have done the concept of my website (layout, structure and interacting hyperlinks) in PowerPoint and saved a website version in html.

Now my question: what would be a fast, easy and efficient solution (tool/software) to restructure (convert/reedit) the ppt html version into a multi-browser friendly (real) website?.
I want to create properly the navigation structure and check that the overall layout is correctly displayed and hyperlinks are in function.

Note: I can not program, but I am able to make a couple of small modifications when I see an html code and I’m generally fine with various graphic tools and new software (web notions).

The website will be further developed with additional features by a pure programmer (no design) but to save time, I want to transmit him a proper concept base (structure, layout, content).

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You could try to make the site more cross-browser, but it mayjust be easier to design the skin in Photoshop or Gimp and send the .xcf or .psd to the person developing the site so they can slice it the wy they see fit. Then send the content and allow them to go nuts.

Powerpoint, word, and most other WYSIWYG editors don't work out all that great.

Thanks i will try it out!
That means....create a blank website with Dreamweaver add the navigation structure with empty pages and copy/past the html code/ or graphic elements in the correspondent one... and go from there?

you would be best learning how to create the basic structure using html and css.
once you are able to do this you can then start to style the site by adding the images and colours.
