Dear All ,
i really stuck i that is way i posted this after spending too much time nearly 10 hrs in this issue

i need to open a site from my VM acting as a web server the config is as follows :

1 - OS win 2003 server no SP.
2- IIS 6.0

my local host is XP with SP2 and Visual studio 2005 .

both machines can ping to each other and i can browse the site from my local host machine .

but i need to customized the site hence i open VS and select Open Web Site and choose <<Remote Site >>
then typed : http://eopra/default.aspx i.e URL of the site in VM .

I received an error says no Front Page server extension is installed in server . please i need detail help on this


moreover i tried to install this FrontPage server extension but the same above error is raised .

Please do not think i want straight forward answers i just need what went wrong ??
am not asking all of you honors to do my home work i just need to what is the problem
