IE6 and firefox are totally different. I have experienced that also when I was practicing in designing a site. It makes me frustrated when everything change as I view my site at firefox. All I can say, do not use firefox in viewing your site. Use the IE and everything will just follow when you are viewing it in firefox.
And of course, try to fix your own error and don't let anyone here fix it for you. How could you learn if you will just depend here?
It would be helpful if you could post screen shots of both so we see exactly where it is looking wrong?

You have used <center> tag at the top. That is why text is aligned center in the list. To solve it in IE In the class .urbangreymenu ul li a { add text-align:left; }

If at all possible, do not code for IE6. I understand those who say you need to be mindful of ALL of your users, but let's face it...IE6 is on its way out.
And honestly, if an end-user doesn't care enough to upgrade their browser...I don't care enough to spend extra hours using archaic code to make things work properly in an archaic browser.

AMEN! Digg and Youtube have been spotted releasing disclaimers to IE6 users. The more that we support and hold up the IE6 users the longer they will use it. The sooner their sites stop working, the sooner they will update their browsers.
I have the theory of 2's, support the 2 latest browsers of each make. So now with the release of IE8 I don't even think about IE6.
A lot of good web-design companies and sites are actually phasing out support for IE6 because it's such a crappy browser. Check it out: http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/07/14/youtu...upport-goodbye/. YouTube's and Twitter are only a handful of the higher-profile sites.
Alternately you can design your stylesheets based on a universal base that sets essentially EVERYTHING to compatible defaults, i.e. http://code.google.com/p/universal-ie6-css/.
Another solution is to use PHP, javascript, for IE conditional html comments to load a completely different stylesheet of IE6.
Personally, I'm for dropping support of IE6... It causes too many headaches and too much frustration trying to account for all of its shortcomings. Its fairly safe to say that I hate it with a passion and now, with my clients' permission, simply include a message that alerts IE6 users that their browser is not supported on said sites.
IE6 is two major versions old, now.... Its time to put it to rest. As of June 2009 only a little over 10% of internet-users actually still used IE6, and that percentage is dropping by a considerable number each year. Its time to update . I say don't worry about how it looks in IE6 or below, but unquestionably test it in IE7.
