#include <soul.h> Joined: 7 Sep, 2006 Posts: 4,729 Thanked: 269 times Dream Kudos: 1400 My Contributions	Okay, I may be going about this totally wrong, but I have spent much of the day searching for a tutorial (unsuccessfully) for LiveCycle (Adobe product) that shows how to connect to a database and inserting the form contents into said database instead of emailing them to me in anXML document. So far all I have found is the Data Connections, which I think is probably what I am supposed to be using, but I haven't found anything that tells me what type of connection or anything to connect to a database located on the internet (this form may be accessed by multiple websites or people who have just downloaded it, so it has to go to the absolute path of the database). Does anyone know how to do this? Or could anyone point me at a tutorial that explains what is needed for it to work? Thanks in advance.

You would need to modify the adobe-ds.xml file to point to the right database. Please take a look at the installation guidelines and instructions on the adobe website for the environment/ database you want to use :http://www.adobe.com/support/documentation/en/livecycle/

Everything is working fine now </edit>
