i was wanting and for sure can get in to the unviersty of houston for a degree in computer science

but then again i could attempt to get into a&m and maybe be taught by the god of proggraming wink2.gif

wut should i do

Well, I am not sure what the edit is about, but I would say apply to both. That way if you don't get in to one you have the other as a fallback.

Not sure if that is the advice you are looking for though.

You have a rather creepy obsession with Stroustrup. All he did was add some features to the existing language. If there's anybody who should be called "god of programming" it's not him. I really hope you're not planning on going to TAMU just because he is there.

Back on topic. TAMU has a bit better program than UH. So if you have to choose, go to TAMU. With that said, there are a lot of better options. Neither of these universities are even in the top 50.

Edit: If you want the best education around the Texas area, try to get into University of Texas - Austin. It has one of the best programs in the nation.
