New D.I.C Head Joined: 18 Jun, 2009 Posts: 2	hi.... I want a search tool in my application in order to search a particular word or text from a file(example search used in our windows xp) using asp.net... without using any third party dll.. Kindly give some tips

Student of Life Joined: 26 Dec, 2005 Posts: 8,544 Thanked: 226 times Dream Kudos: 500 Expert In: Everything My Contributions	A suggestion would be to read the entire text file into a string variable and then use the native methods of the string class or Regex to search the data for the matching word.
