Hey, just wondering if anyone knows of a few good sources to learn ada. I have looked around and can't really find any books or sites that teach ada. Also please tell me if you know of any better linux ide for ada than gps. Any other info would be greatly appreciated =)

It seems like everytime some asks about tutorial sites I suggest this site, but oh well, it's useful.

freecomputerbooks.com has a great selection of free tech books, mostly in PDF but some in plain old HTML.

If you haven't used it already, google is by far the best research for tutorials for any language.

As for Linux IDEs, this site lists a bunch of IDEs (only two of which are for Ada, unfortunately), and it may help you proceed in the right direction.


edit : as an afterthought, you should check out if Eclipse has an Ada plugin. It might not, but it's worth a look

thanks, and ya I know about this thing you call google on the interwebs lol. I also just modified my text editor to run like a ide though lol, so i'm happy.
