New D.I.C Head Joined: 15 Jun, 2009 Posts: 39 My Contributions	Is a Text based Game a good place to start? I've almost finished mine, i just need to sort out some very badly typed 'if' statements and figure out some things... ...of course if i get reaallly stuck I'll ask the guys here at DIC for help, but at the moment im trying to improve by learning from my mistakes.

Working in text will help you learn the language that you want to use. When you move to graphics games it will be a great help if you have a good understanding of the language you want to use.
