I liked the blending form the purple to the black on the menu bar. I color other than yellow might be better for the rollover but I did like the yellow.

But the resolution is too wide - I don't like to side scroll to view content. (on that note, i did not stay to look at more than the index page.) I use 1024 x 768 at work and 1280 x 1024 on laptop. You should never design a site for resolutions higher than 1024 x 768 as you are just discriminating against majority of the people since 1024 is the most popular resolution.
