I love this control however you can set values for list items, but can you get them without performing a post back? I'm doing something thing with jQuery and can get all the information that I need from the controls except the most important part which is the value of the item. I want it so that I can perform a lookup via ajax and populate the other fields when the item changes. I know I could just place everything in an update panel, but if I can just use the jQuery ajax functionality for what I want I don't need all the extra overhead of the update panel.

It may be that I need to just hack the control code for what I want, but if there is a way that someone knows of please let me know.

Thanks in advance for any information provided.

Derek
