Wondering if anybody had links to any M tutorials. Knowledge of this language would come in very handy in my job.

I had more along the lines of mumps, sometimes called M; it's not new, it's older than C

To accentuate my difficulty in finding tutorials, I found this tutorial that looked promising, but the 2nd page was not found...

I also found this site which describes the language, but I haven't found any tutorials yet.

Found this quip which makes me drool

How fast is M?
One company developing heavily in MUMPS ran tests to determine performance characteristics of MUMPS vs. Oracle. MUMPS ran approximately six times faster. Digital's DSM (Digital Standard MUMPS) consistently sets benchmark records for transaction processing. [John E. Kemker, III, kemker.j@atlanta.va.gov]

This might be a long shot depending on exactly where you live, and I realize you seem to be scrounging primarily for web-content at the moment, but you might actually consider checking your local library for books on the subject.
If you live in a larger town or city or there is somewhere close you know of that features a well-stocked library you just might luck out.
Your local public library probably even has a website allowing you to search their catalog for material online. Libraries in my state, for example, share a computer system, so you can search for a book and actually be informed if it is at ANY library in the state.
