flow from one block to another tutorial?, need help understanding this logic

Hi,
I have an online class and was recommended to get a tutor to help me undestand the flow of things like using for, if while statements in programs in Java... Since I do not have that opportunity at this time for a one on one... I am wondering if there is someplace you could direct me to go to read something to help me here in my assignments.?

check out the tutorial section here, there are a lot of tutorials that can help you get started..also check out the java tutorials on the sun website..a lot of great stuff there that will help you out

Thanks so much for both of these replies... these are really great tutorials...the one written by neotifa and the others in general.. I bookmarked a lot of them in my Java folder on my toolbar... looking forward to reading more of them and looking forward to reading part 2 of neotifa's : )

Wow, I feel special. wub.gif I almost hate to have to tell him that my evil mother took my computer (that I payed for) away from me again because I'm irresponsible (I thought giving her $150 rent would have made her happy =__=) and I can't work on it at the moment...
