I recently just got a Logitech Bluetooth wireless mouse and keyboard set up. It's pretty sweet expect for the fact that sometimes the mouse gets real laggy!!!

Anyone have any thoughts on what could be making this happen?

I have a new laptop with 4 gig of memory, not really sure whats going on. I've done some looking around on-line (not much) and really haven't been able to find anything.

Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

Just an idea but what about external interferences? I know Bluetooth is built around a technology that theoretically should exclude any interferences (as it dinamically changes the frequency) but still. Did you use the manufacturer's drivers? When it gets laggy (or there are just random times)?

Never thought about that. I wonder if my cell phone might be causing interference!

It's just at random times, for example the last 20 minutes it's been working fine now all of a sudden it just lagged for about 30 seconds now it's fine again.

How far away is the mouse from the dongle or the computer end?

It's pretty close. If i had to give you an exact distance its about a foot and a half away from my laptop.

I'm going to see if it's my cell phone causing some interference, hopefully that's it and not something defective with my mouse.

One could argue a foot (30.48 cm) or over is enough to cause a bit of lag. It should be a fine distance but closer is better.

Alright figure out what it is.

My PC has blue tooth and this keyboard and mouse set up has a USB receiver that comes with it. Well I plugged in the USB and still had my PC's blue tooth on.

I took out the USB receiver and set it up through my PC and it's working great now.
