New D.I.C Head Joined: 1 Jul, 2009 Posts: 5	Hi I am starting to program a chess game in java but I am wondering if there is another language that would be best suited for that task. I know that C, wouldn't but is there a special gaming language that i should learn to do this?

There are a lot of different criteria that define which language is suited best. You provided zero detail about those criteria, so I can't answer that question. Pick a language that you feel more comfortable with.
