Hello guys

just creating a website that is supposed to combine two different styles.. funky and elegant. I have used a big flash banner to let my client`s work make a good impression on her visitors..but perhaps it is too big ?

as for the site itself, it is just one page and the idea is to come up with an effective layout.

I`d like to get an opinion on the following:

1, white space at the top = keep it clean or try to exploit it as much as possible ?

2, color scheme = i guess that depends upon the images used, however, the current ones have been nicked off the internet, so they`ll change eventually..

so any positive suggestions will be very much appreciated

I see no white space. smile.gif

The design is bold and elegant in an artistic point of view. However, the flash, its hard to decide on size. I would, make it smaller but it would most likely expose the image links. I would have this as more on a splash screen type and have the links at the top with one more for the selected projects.

I like the skin. Looks nice and elegant (like Fire said). I don't think the whitespace (which looks black to me smile.gif) is too much at the top. It works out pretty well. Additionally, the Flash may load a little slow and be fairly bright compared to the rest of the site, but after the image has loaded and faded in it looks nice. Pretty good design overall.
