OK Y'all, I'm stuck.
I want to make a WebBrowser control NOT render the background color -- that is, I want the mostly transparent PNG background I have for something (namely, I'm getting HTML from the outside world) to overlay nicely on my form.

I'd like to stick with WinForms, however if there's an easier way to do it with WPF I'd be glad to move to WPF.

I've tried using TransparencyKey and a few other tricks, but so far I'm stuck.

I've tried using TransparencyKey...
CODE

this.TransparencyKey=Color.White;

I get trash from the transparency, and the WebBrowser control doesnt support transparency natively it doesnt look like.

What I want is for the form itself (the background of the form) to not paint, at all, and the background of the WebBrowser control to not paint.
