Maybe I am just not getting this whole torrent thing and these websites with torrent links that require registration and invitation and credit card activations just for masturbation...

I mean have people entirely forgotten about totally decentralized P2P networks and so forth for their 100% legitimate downloads?

Somebody explain this to me please.
Are these websites giving away free pens or waffles for joining or something better?

This thread might get closed because Demonoid is just like The Pirate Bay and goes against Dream.In.Code rules.


Except they make you have to sign up whereas The Pirate Bay didn't. I mean, we talk about them but we don't go asking for invites.
